Etilaam Md is usually prescribed as a sedative and hypnotic for sleep and anxiety disorders. It is not to be used for pregnant and lactating women, for those with impaired kidney and liver functions, lung problems, and glaucoma.
There may be enhanced sedation when had with medicines like beta-blockers, antibacterials, antifungals, and antipsychotics. The most common side effects of this drug are drowsiness, sedation, muscle weakness, and incoordination.
More serious effects that urgently require medical help are fainting, slurred speech, changes in libido and tremors.
