The medication contains the active ingredient Flibanserin, which is indicated to treat decreased sexual desire in women who have not gone through menopause and who have never had low sexual desire in the past. Fliban is for use only when low sexual desire is not caused by a medical condition, a mental disorder, relationship problems, or by using drugs or other medicines. This medication is not indicated for the treatment of HSDD in postmenopausal women or in men, or to enhance sexual performance.
How should I take Fliban?
Follow all directions given to you by your doctor. Do not use this medicine in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended. Take Fliban only at bedtime. It may take up to 8 weeks before your symptoms improve. Keep using the medication as directed and tell your doctor if your symptoms do not improve.
What happens if I miss a dose?
Skip the missed dose and take the medicine the following day at bedtime. Do not take flibanserin in the morning, and do not take extra medicine to make up the missed dose.
What happens if I overdose?
If an overdose occurs and you are feeling unwell, seek emergency medical attention or contact your healthcare provider immediately.
How to store?
Store at room temperature between 15 and 30 degrees C (59 and 86 degrees F) away from moisture and heat. Throw away any unused medicine after the expiration date. Keep out of the reach of children.
