Major depressive disorder. This medicine is used in the treatment of the major depressive disorder which is characterized by the loss of interest and pleasure in usual activities including social relationships.

Seasonal Affective Disorder. This medicine is used in the treatment of the seasonal affective disorder, which is a type of depression that occurs on a seasonal basis at the same time every year.

Smoking cessation. This medicine is used as a smoking cessation aid. It reduces the urge to smoke and relieves the withdrawal symptoms associated with smoking cessation.
